Since its inception in 1983, PRADAN has always held the view that the task of alleviating mass poverty, given its magnitude and complexities, cannot be effectively fulfilled alone. Thus it has been among PRADAN’s key strategies to identify a diverse range of external stakeholders and foster fruitful collaborations with them towards improving the lives of the rural poor. The Government and its agencies, the banks and other financial institutions, donors, research and resource institutions – all need to work together in the task of combating mass poverty. PRADAN seeks to play a key role in orchestrating these partnerships
