|Ambedkar University, Delhi collaborates with PRADAN to launch an MPhil in Development Practice|
THE MPHIL PROGRAMME: Existing theories and practices of development have failed to fully address the lived experiences and the livelihoods-health-education-governance related predicaments of a large segment of the Indian rural poor. The MPhil in Development Practice (co-hosted by AUD and PRADAN) through an examination of the unexamined 'underdevelopment of the rural' and the equally unexamined 'royal road to Development', and the setting up of a relationship with the rural through a eight-month long immersion-based-learning in rural contexts wishes to create a cohort of Development Sector Professional who would have the capacity to initiate transformative social action in rural India.
