Sanjay Sharma

Sanjay Sharma, Executive Director, Manjari Foundation, is based in Dholpur, Rajasthan. He has over 19 years of experience in rural development, starting his career in PRADAN, in Dholpur and across Rajasthan. He has a B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana. He was selected for the prestigious International Ford Foundation Fellowship and completed his Masters in Sustainable International Development, majoring in Development Economics, from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management, Waltham, Boston. He has professional expertise in formulating, designing, implementing, monitoring and supervision of development projects, which include social mobilization, institution building, pro-poor livelihoods value chain development, organizational development, advocacy and public policy formulation in the rural development sector. He has vast experience with international development organizations, including in Cambodia, Kenya, Mali and Senegal.
