Youth in the forefront

The youth club members in Mohgaon block in Mandla District have been creating awareness among their brethrens. As part of the Yuvashstra programme, PRADAN has mobilized youth to form youth clubs. The youths are trained and supported to get jobs in various sectors in the cities as well as in the rural areas. With the closure of many factories and other institutes, hordes of youth are returning back to their villages. The members of the youth club are creating awareness around social distancing, quarinitines and physical isolation among the villagers. They have also converted and managing the government building as quarantines homes for the migrant workers. As the migrant workers are coming back to the villages, the youth club is supporting the district administration in getting the preliminary check-ups done and convincing the workers to stay at the quarantines for 14 days. The youth in support from PRADAN and government administration are providing all the necessary facilities and support to the workers and their families.
