Stories from NRLM promoted SHG Federations on Social Development – (April 2023)
In Littipara Block of Pakur district, UDAAN Change Makers (resource persons promoted under the project UDAAN being implemented by JSLPS) identified Rubi Malto as an Active Woman with 36 other PVTG women to work under the project. Project UDAAN was launched in 2019 to mainstream PVTG HHs in 26 districts of Jharkhand through the JSLPS. The projects aims to increase incomes of vulnerable tribal HHs through adoption of sustainable livelihoods Rubi belongs to Sahurya Pahariya, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribe (PVTG) from the hills of Rajmahal in Pakur district.
