Support Doubling Farmers’ Income by Skilling Rural Women on New Technologies
Our Target: 100 rural women

PRADAN has been working with women farmers for 35 years, skilling them with new technologies to enhance their income. It is working with more than 2,00,000 farmers to double their income through both farm and non-farm-based interventions. The National Small-holder Poultry Development Trust (NSPDT), promoted by PRADAN, supports 10,441 women poultry farmers, across 20 cooperatives, reaching a cumulative turnover of Rs 3.6 billion. PRADAN has also developed one of the largest organised tasar silk production houses—Tasar Development Foundation (TDF), which works with 13,000 farmers rearing the seed cocoons needed to make tasar silk.
Your contribution will support woman farmers for three agriculture seasons to learn new techniques, scale up the cash crop, establish market linkages and, thereby, double their income.
