Sushma Iyengar is a social activist and a recipient of \u2018Gondhia Award for Social Work\u2019 in 1996, instituted by Young Men\u2019s Gandhian Association. She founded and led the Kutch Mahila Vikas Sangathan, an organization of rural women, initiating processes for mobilizing, organizing and training rural women, as well as organization building.
